We’ve moved our program two doors south down to 3D Equestrian Centre.
The 2010 annual “Heads-Up!” Horse shows are back!
Last year’s show was a great success with everyone having a great time. This year’s shows are scheduled for July 17th and August 14th. These fun shows are a great way to get into showing your horse. Note that the show will now be held at 3D Equestrian Centre, located at 52140 – RR 224. See the “facilities” section to see the map.

Summer Camps are coming July 12 – 16 and August 9 – 13.
Camps will be $350/kid/week Maximum 10 kids per camp.
What will we do?
The Heads Up! Camps will be a blend of theoretical knowledge and hands-on practice working with horses. We will do various things that are involved in caring for a horse including mucking out stalls, feeding, watering, grooming, cleaning tack, inspecting fences, tacking up and riding (to the level of the participants). Other activities will include age-appropriate crafts and games, such as a picture frame, a stuffed animal, and painting a jump. We will keep a journal of the week to take home afterwards, and have a demonstration ride for parents at the end of the camp on Friday. Those that have appropriate skills will be given the opportunity to participate in the horse show being held on the property on the Saturday following the camp. The show is a separate event that has fees associated with it – ask Lara for more details when signing up for the camp.
What do you need to bring?
Please send a nutritious lunch with several snacks, water bottle (labeled), sunscreen, bug spray, change of clothes, hat, riding helmet if you have one, and shoes with a small heel (need to bring your own).
Times of operation:
Campers can be dropped off after 8:30 am, we will begin at 9:00 am.
Campers can be picked up anytime after 4:00 pm – need to be picked up by 4:30 pm (evening lesson program begins – I can’t be responsible for them after this).
Fees:
All camps are $350 per camp per participant – GST is not included. Payment must be made prior to the beginning of the first day of camp.
Forms:
We need all campers to have complete waivers, medical information and contact information forms. All information is kept confidential – the medical form is kept on-site in case of an emergency. All others are simply administration. Campers will not be allowed to participate if any form is not completed.
Optionally campers may sign permission for me to photograph them for some crafts and advertising materials.
